Job Title: Senior PeopleSoft Financials (GL & KK) Architect
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Role Overview
A Senior Architect role requiring extensive functional expertise in PeopleSoft FIN 9.2 General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK), complemented by strong technical proficiency in PeopleSoft development and troubleshooting. This position is critical for managing cross-module integrations and supporting the full lifecycle of PeopleSoft implementations within a functional team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and configure PeopleSoft FIN 9.2 General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK) modules, including ledger configurations, budget structures, and transactional processing frameworks.
• Apply advanced technical proficiency in PeopleSoft development and troubleshooting within a functional team context.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of cross-module integration points, including GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense, with emphasis on interdependency workflows and integration touchpoints.
• Create and process Budget and GL Journals, overseeing the complete journal lifecycle.
• Configure PeopleSoft components such as new Business Units, Combo edits, Chartfields, and Trees.
• Work with PeopleSoft architectures integrating with external applications.
• Utilize PeopleSoft application engines for development and support.
• Lead functional design discussions and technical solution walkthroughs, applying project management principles.
• Conduct research and analysis using PeopleSoft tables and structures.
• Provide production support, including issue triage, defect resolution, and incident management.
• Perform comprehensive PeopleSoft lifecycle testing, including vouchering, purchasing, GL journal posting, and accounts receivable processing, with deep knowledge of test sequencing, data staging, and end-to-end business process validation.
• Develop enhancement documentation covering requirements gathering, business analysis, configuration, identification of tables and code changes, test conditions, business risks, and alternative options.

Required Skills

• Extensive expertise in PeopleSoft FIN 9.2, specifically within General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK)
• Comprehensive knowledge of cross-module integration points, including GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense
• Experience analyzing PeopleCode, AE programs, and other technical objects to identify root causes, customizations, retrofitting needs
• Proficiency in People Tools, Integration Broker, web services, and REST and SOAP API integrations
• Proficient at PS Query
• Comprehensive PeopleSoft lifecycle testing experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience with a large Government enterprise solution
