Job Title: Application Architect (Informatica, Finance & Accounting)
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Application Architect with deep expertise in Informatica data integration and a strong foundation in Accounting and Finance domains. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise data flows connecting the organization’s financial source systems, data warehouses, and reporting platforms. Your work will ensure financial data integrity and scalable architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the end-to-end application and data integration architecture for finance and accounting systems, aligning technical solutions with enterprise financial goals.
• Design, build, and optimize robust ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration strategies, and metadata management solutions using Informatica PowerCenter / Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Enforce rigorous data quality and checks to ensure financial data accuracy and audit compliance.
• Establish coding standards, design patterns, and framework documentation for integration and delivery teams.
• Guide cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and act as the technical liaison between finance stakeholders and IT delivery groups.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in Information Technology, with at least 4+ years specializing in enterprise application or solution architecture.
• Proven track record designing large-scale data warehousing and ETL solutions using Informatica suite (IICS, PowerCenter, Data Quality).
• Solid working knowledge of core financial and accounting concepts.
• Experience integrating financial ERPs with data lakes, enterprise data warehouses, and reporting tools.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills to bridge complex technical concepts with business finance teams.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certifications in Informatica or Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Years of Experience: 8+ years in Information Technology

• This is a remote position.
• Candidates preferably reside in Ohio or within the Eastern Standard Time zone.
• Work hours: 7 AM – 4 PM EST.
