Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to support enterprise application testing and software quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies, validating software functionality, managing defects, and ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with both manual and automated testing, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Support software quality assurance activities throughout the application development lifecycle.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing procedures.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Review software deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
• Log, track, manage, and validate defect resolution activities.
• Participate in Agile development processes and collaborate with project teams to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Conduct software quality reviews and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Assist development teams in testing software updates, enhancements, patches, and production releases.
• Perform SQL database queries to support testing and validation activities.
• Generate quality metrics, testing reports, and status updates for project stakeholders.
• Identify risks, quality concerns, and improvement opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project teams, technical leads, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.
• Mentor team members and share quality assurance knowledge and expertise.

Required Experience
• 7+ years of experience testing IT products and applications.
• 7+ years of experience testing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and custom-developed applications.
• 7+ years of experience developing and executing test cases, test scripts, test plans, and test procedures for both manual and automated testing.
• 7+ years of experience designing test cases and managing defects with minimal supervision.
• 1+ year of experience working on projects utilizing Agile methodologies.
• Experience supporting software deployment validation and release testing activities.
• Experience performing software quality reviews and process compliance assessments.
Additional Notes
• Experience with automated testing tools is preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow project tracking tools is a plus.
• Experience working with SQL databases is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities are preferred.
• Position requires onsite attendance five days per week in Columbus, Ohio.
