Job Description:

  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud architecture, including both solution and infrastructure layers in Microsoft Azure (30%)
  • Partner with the CTO and program leadership to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, including AI tools and platforms (10%)
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade applications and shared components to Azure, including ED STEPS systems (50%)
  • Mentor and train monitoring team members and application developers to strengthen overall technical capability (10%)

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • 7+ years designing and executing Azure cloud architecture and adoption strategies
  • 5+ years building and maintaining Azure-native applications
  • 5+ years migrating .NET applications to Azure
  • 5+ years implementing CI/CD pipelines in Azure environments
  • 5+ years working with Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, App Services)
  • 5+ years using Azure DevOps, including leading sprint planning and Agile ceremonies
  • 3+ years designing and developing enterprise-level reusable components/libraries
  • 10+ years developing applications using Microsoft .NET (C# preferred)
  • 10+ years working with relational databases (MS SQL preferred; Oracle acceptable)
  • 8+ years architecting enterprise systems using .NET technologies
  • 5+ years leading teams across the full software development lifecycle
  • 5+ years practicing Test-Driven Development and automated testing
  • 5+ years working in Agile environments using TFS or similar tools
  • 10+ years with Angular (v10+) and related technologies (TypeScript, Bootstrap, Jasmine/Karma)
  • 5+ years with additional web technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, MVC)
  • 5+ years with .NET Core (2.0+) using C#
  • 5+ years with ORM tools (Entity Framework preferred)
  • 1+ year with GitHub Advanced Security
  • 1+ year experience with AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI agents)
