Role Overview
As an Identity Management System Specialist, you will manage user issues for a large workforce and citizen accounts, assisting agencies with mission-critical systems and user management. This role involves designing and developing solutions for user lifecycle management (joiner/mover/leaver scenarios) in both custom software and commercial off-the-shelf solutions. You will also collaborate on security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage user issues for over 110,000 workforce accounts and 8 million citizen accounts.
  • Assist agencies with mission-critical systems and user management.
  • Design and develop solutions for joiner/mover/leaver scenarios in custom software and commercial off-the-shelf solutions.
  • Support Privileged Access Management (PAM) issues.
  • Provide User ID management and support.
  • Process bulk ID requests for updates and information.
  • Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Support and optimize Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce support efforts.

Required Skills

  • Experience with software administration, development, and/or systems support (2 Years)
  • Experience handling user issues/trouble tickets (2 Years)

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with IAM concepts or a strong desire to learn scripting
  • IT background with some programming and/or system administration experience

Years of Experience: 2 years

Additional Notes

  • Directly responsible for an average ticket workload of over 100 identity issues per month.
  • Collaborate with OISP on security initiatives.
