Job Summary
The Technical Specialist 4 (TS4) serves as the Lead Salesforce Developer and is responsible for the design, development, administration, configuration, customization, and support of Salesforce platform solutions and third-party integrations. This role works closely with business stakeholders, architects, project managers, and development teams to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions supporting enterprise business operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
The selected candidate will lead Salesforce development activities across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Field Service Lightning environments while supporting API integrations and MuleSoft migration efforts. The role includes hands-on development, release management, mentoring team members, and providing production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Salesforce CRM development activities and support enterprise application initiatives.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and Project Managers to plan releases and prioritize enhancements.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including:
- Requirements analysis
- Solution design
- Development
- Testing
- Deployment
- Post-production support
- Design, configure, customize, and develop Salesforce applications using:
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Aura Components
- Visualforce
- SOQL
- JavaScript
- HTML/CSS
- Build and maintain Lightning Flows and convert legacy workflow rules/process builders.
- Develop and manage Salesforce Communities.
- Lead API integrations with internal and third-party systems using REST and SOAP web services.
- Support MuleSoft integration and migration initiatives.
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and development standards.
- Manage deployments and release activities across Salesforce environments and sandboxes.
- Provide Salesforce administration support, including:
- User setup/deactivation
- Profiles and roles
- Permission sets
- Sharing rules
- Security management
- Manage Salesforce data quality, imports, exports, and reporting activities.
- Develop dashboards, advanced reports, and analytics solutions.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing support.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide production support.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and user guides.
- Mentor development team members and provide technical leadership.
- Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
- Maintain and support Field Service Lightning applications and mobile solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Medicaid systems and business processes.
- Experience with MuleSoft and Anypoint Platform.
- Salesforce Developer and/or Administrator Certifications.
- MuleSoft Certification(s).
- Experience with Einstein Analytics and Salesforce reporting tools.
- Experience supporting enterprise-level CRM implementations.
